Ahoy hoy,

Well, I missed last weeks, and missing this weeks was killing me but I managed to get something kinda done.

So when I was a kid my old man used to make stuff out of wood for me, since the family trade was carpentry/ cabinet making I used to get really cool stuff. So When I wanted to be a Cowboy He made me Pistolas. It was so much fun taking out Lee Van Cleef, for all the gold. "Blonde! you you sonofa... Wah wooWAH! Sorry Tuco.

This is pretty neat! Is this what the guns your dad made really looked like? Did they have working triggers? I see what could be a hinge for them. And what about the chambers - anything go in there? I had a lotta toy guns as a kid but the fascination only stuck with me as far as video games.

Is this illustrator with Photoshop texture work?

That's enough questions for now...

The guns my dad made looked pretty close, and the trigger didn't work.
The chamber was there in real life, but I didnt get a chance to finish painting them and I thought the negative space looked cool. I painted this in Photoshop With my wacom. I started out with vector shapes and then paint brush and smear tool all the way.

I though this was a 3D model. I think mainly because of the gray background behind the guns. You really had me fooled! The texture and rendering really convinced me these were actually built.
