This piece is called "Ground Hero", and it sees The Masters of the Universe through the prism of 9/11. The central image came to me in a dream; everything else just flowed. And, yes, I am a deeply troubled individual...

A man after my own heart.

I'm glad to see Man-at-Arms and Skelletor finally shaking hands. I hate it when they're not talking to one another.

Skeletor turned out the best in my opinion and I do like how dopey both He-Man and Evil Lynn look down there.

And I know I'm not up on my social commentary these days but who is that "troll" hidden in the base of Castle Grayskull?

Nice to see Hordak made an appearance. Nice work Ian - nice work.

Hey, All, it's me. It's weird posting in my own "Comments" section, but I thought I'd answer Bob's question about the "troll". That's Loo-Kee, from the She-Ra series; at the end of the episodes, the audience was shown a background from the show and asked to find him. It was like "Where's Waldo" by way of Rainbow-Brite. Nice eye, Bob! And props to my wife, Darlena, for suggesting I throw him in there...

Ha - great tie in Ian. Jasmin is the only other human being I know that watched She-Ra - wonder if she caught this...
