Week 2

When I Grow Up
Outsider Art Club, session 102

Next week's theme is titled "When I Grow Up", and the idea is to do a self-portrait of yourself, but not in a boring, stare-at-yourself-in-the-mirror kind of way. Think to way back in the day as a little kid: what did you imagine yourself doing as an adult? Some of us wanted to be astronauts, firemen, fairy princesses (c'mon, not me!?!) dinosaur hunters, whatever. Have fun with it, and please don't tell me you wanted to be a lawyer. That's what your aunt wanted you to be.

In the meantime, don't be afraid to keep on working on the ZvsP pieces or commenting on everyone's submissions. Just because it's Friday doesn't mean you have to shove it away! And definitely feel free to post WIP's with links to your blogs during the week. Part of the point behind this blog is to help direct traffic to everyone's individual sites too. Any comments or issues with the blog you might have, shoot me an e-mail to jointheclub@oddernod.com, and I'll look into it right away.

Thanks to everyone for making week 1 so awesome: it was a thrill to see what angle everyone took on the theme. Let's keep the momentum going this week. And the next theme will be picked by none other than the amazing Jeff Williams!

On to week #2!

Just a minor correction Ryan:
Jeff Williams is more along the lines of "miraculous" rather than just "amazing".
