So the "Knuckle Sandwich" remains half-eaten. I started on the inks last night, and will have to wrap up on Sunday when I get some free time. Can't wait for the next assignment!
I think I'd rather eat a knuckle sammich rather than ink all those lines! Definitely original with the textured linework. And it's still not quite done yet? How detailed can you go? Nice.
Exactly; are the lines gonna have lines? Great work, Ian. Such care goes into every one of your pieces. I wish you would have left the pirate's eye non-black, but other than that, I love it. Sweet.

I'm so psyched you started up on the blog Ian. I remember seeing some of your stuff way back in Melvin's sketchbook and always wanted to see more.
Did you ever read the comic book Cerebus; your detailing reminds me of the better parts of Dave Sim and Gerhard's work.
Wow !! Gorgeous ink work .
Impressive linework - nice feel for contour and texture.
The linework is phenomenal!
I'm jealous.
Keep up the great illustrating!
