This Zombie isn't such a bad guy. He's just a little hungry. Don't feel too bad for the Pirate - I'm sure he hurt someone real bad and deserves being devoured. A corpse can also make a good sofa.

Freakin' sweet Dave, and orange blood to boot. Ahh, my favorite color. I love the idea of the zombie sitting in the carcass of his prey. Great stuffs!

Awesome, Dave. There's so many great details in here. I love the pirate's blank, bugged-out expression. And the zombie's half-foot. Very nice.

Great stuff, Dave - the expression of horror on the pirate's face is strangely hilarious. I love the paper texture and palette; it looks like something out of "Ye Olde Sketchebook" Just a strong drawing overall.

Yeah man - I love the pirate's face on the ground. Utter confused disbelief is frozen forever on his mug.

Disgusting and cute at the same time. Love the choice of monochrome, and the choice of a not-so-obvious color!

I was going for a canvas-like look, sort of what a pirate might have to draw on. I feel in the end it was a little over-labored, but it was fun drawing this nonetheless. I don't do perspective stuff too well, so this was a good exercise. I was kind of going between two styles - flat and dimensional. Not intentionally - I guess I just couldn't decide what way was best.
