Hulk Smash City!

SORRY FOR POSTING THIS LATE, but at least I finished it. Nothing special about the composition (a character posing against the moon is pretty cliche, huh?), since I pretty much already did this in a previous piece. Regardless, I hope you like it. Enjoy!

It's never too late for Hulk! And although simple - a powerful composition that shows the Hulk for what he is - a giant mass prepared to smash things.

I like the natural blue light/ artificial city light approach.

If wouldn't mind seeing the yellow light define his face a bit more - I kept wanting to get closer and closer to understand the details.

Great link to the Superman stuff. I went back to look at a few of the other Superman posts and they all were all cool in their own right.

OAC members check 'em out.

This is nice Marshall. All those rippling muscles in Hulk's torso was somethin' I was struggling for in Lion-O last week. Dig the lighting too.

There's a very serene feeling here. The night sky, the lights, the calm before the Hulk storm. I wouldn't complain if yer characters were in front of the moon every time as long as you use different phases like you have so far :)

You jag. I'm coloring my Spiderwoman peice the exact same way. Moonlight on top sunset on bottom. Did you see me working on it at lunch ? Anyway,...good handling. Hulk in the mood for love. Very romanic.

Thanks for the kind words, guys (except for you, Kevin). In response to Dave's bad eyesight, I've posted a larger version of Hulk over at my blog. See it here.

Yeah, Bob, I was trying to get that calm-before-the-storm feeling. That moment of pause at the apex of a jump. I'm glad you got that.

No, Kevin, I'm not biting off you, I swear. But I do look forward to seeing this Spiderwoman piece of which you speak.

Thanks again, guys (even you, Kevin).

I feel like it is moments after I accidentally said something offensive. "No, Hulk! I was just sayin'! It wasn't directed at you or your mother!"
