Tentatively called "Knuckle Sandwich", this is my pencil sketch for the current Pirate/Zombie gallery. My wife pointed out that this is one of the most complete prelims she's ever seen me do, as most of the details typically come out in the inking stage. Is that "growth", or simply the crunch of a deadline? S'pose we'll see tomorrow...

Hey Ian,...good to see ya drawin. Like the zombies expression. I would go super loose with the line on the clean up version. Would suit the style well.

I like the feeling of world weariness in this drawing. I guess when you're a zombie munching on body parts you kinda feel like you've seen it all...

There's a lot of emotion here. Are these guys pals? They are both concerned, but not so concerned to loose their appetite. The pirate reminds me of Geoffry Rush.
