KIDDIE CAGE FIGHT

Here is the 5 year old kid that can kick ass 6 ways to Sunday. He's really more like 4 and 1/2 years old, but you'll soon forget when you're picking your brains up off the floor after being hurled through a chain link fence.

You have such a demented cartoon sensibility! I would love to see you tackle a children's book based on "Dante's Inferno"...

That is like the Boss of the kiddie cage fight. Small but crazy as hell. I love the colors, style and everything. Great work!

Thanks folks - this was a suprise for me. Wasn't working out on Wednesday and pulled it together better on Thursday. I seem to need at least two days for some of these.

It's got a kind of "softer side of Escape from New York" feel to it. Like when Kurt Russel wasn't trying to fend of hundreds of mutated gang members, the children would use the empty lots to have these cage fights. I think we should all post the theme song for our kiddies. My kid's would be "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

Your stuff, your style, your use of light, texture and so on.....it's all what everyone says. But you continue to push that envelope and that's what inspires. Keep it up, my good man. I look forward to each of your posts. Ta'.

This is totally nightmarish Dave. ...all those teeth...

The attention to the mangled fence and barbed wire is great - the bits of wire feel twisted around each other just like real fence construction.

But yeah - the composition pulls me in right away with this image. It's vertical to start with which is always different, but the various circles and negative space hi-light areas and just make it interesting to the eye.

This might be nice printed out as a giant door poster.
